Chico Has Left the Building

So, it was a great night. I spent time with THE MAN, and I really liked him.

In the morning the people put Chico in a bright pink dog stroller for the WALK. I don’t know about pink, not that Chico has gender issues because Chico is the man, but the stroller is cool—kind of like a car ride where you can stop and get out, sniff sniff sniff, and pee on the important things. It’s my work, and I take it seriously. The monster tried to scare me, but I was in the stroller, so it was all good. Then we had breakfast, the icky spray, and NO BATH! It was a great start, but the day got even better. CAT LADY (I think she’s the LADY’s MOM or Grandma) is really into loud TV and CATS. I tried to go in the cat boxes because they smelled amazing, but all I heard was “Chico! No!” Chico says yes to all things, especially smells. Then the PEOPLE started doing really boring things with paint and a saw, so Chico chilled in the stroller in the sun…until I saw an outside CAT. I wanted to chase it. I also peed all over the CAT LADY’s yard, so it’s Chico’s yard, now. Oh, and I almost forgot! They have this really weird moving house/car thing called THE BUS. I liked it! We went to Home Depot, whatever that is, and Chico fell asleep with the LADY.

But the best part of my whole day was when Maureen showed up with my friends! I was so excited! And she put me in the car! And I got to keep my “I love bacon” T-shirt. I’m sorry the PEOPLE have a monster, but that’s not how Chico rolls, so I am outta there. Maureen says there are some people interested in giving me a new home, and honestly, what a week. Last weekend I was in the shelter, and now I know about strollers, THE BUS, THE MAN, THE LADY, and the MONSTER. Most of all I am happy people are taking care of me, because I am just a little guy and I need help. I hope everyone has forgotten about the baths… and I don’t know what a DENTIST is, but it sounds pretty cool. I hope it’s like the stroller! THE MAN and THE LADY hugged me a whole bunch before Maureen came, and I could tell they really liked me, but seriously, what’s not to like? I won’t miss the MONSTER, but I wish them luck with him because he’s seriously weird.
