I am not sure about this week. There have been some positive developments, like meeting Maureen and getting out of the Baldwin Park Animal Shelter, but there have also been baths. Many baths. Chico is very clean, y’all, so you folks can stop washing him. I have arrived at a new house with new people, and they seem pretty nice. I really like THE MAN. He sits with me and does computer things or works on his “Little men”…something , something Star Wars, and I look like a baby Yoda or Dobby, whatever that means. The LADY made me wear weird clothes that belonged to some Joey creature. She is also big on baths. And walks. These people really like to walk, and they don’t want me to stop every five seconds and smell/pee, and they walk a really LONG time. Finally, the LADY carried me. I hear I am getting a stroller tomorrow, but I don’t know what that is. The worst part about this place isn’t the BATH LADY or the MAN who I like a lot—it is the MONSTER. They have this big, black, scary MONSTER who wants to sniff Chico and who waps Chico with his tail. He is terrifying! He gets all CRAZY trying to shove his gigantic head at me (bigger than me!), and when I snap and yip, he just doesn’t leave me alone. That said, I have the LADY now, and I am snoring on her lap. I mean, actually, I am writing this and snoring. I can multitask.

Look at the weird outfit they made me wear! Not my style. Tomorrow we are going to meet the CAT LADY (some Mom or something), and I hope it gets better here. Thank you folks who got me out of Baldwin Park! I am little, and weird, but very, very sweet, and I deserve a better life.
I forgot to mention how much I loved this. You really need to write a book from a dog’s perspective, maybe on your magic bus trip… XO
